ZONE SYSTEMS
Zone systems are the only way to achieve optimal efficiency and comfort within a home. They are placed in the ductwork or pipping of refrigeration and boiler systems and allow for heating and cooling of specific target areas. This can also be achieved with Ductless Mini Splits.
MEDIA FILTRATION
Media Filtration systems are usually Two-to-Four-inch filter systems with a MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating of 11-13. The do improve air quality, however they are not as effective as UV, Electric or Ionizers. They are however exceptional when coupled together with one of those forementioned products.
UV AND ELECTRIC AIR PURIFIERS
UV indoor air cleaners and electric air cleaners are fairly cost-effective ways to clean your whole homes air. They are installed in line with your HVAC system.
NON-OZONE PRODUCING IONIZERS
These are our preferred Indoor air quality product. They are compact, highly effective, keep your indoor coil cleaned, and can be ran off low voltage. Basically, these products produce both positive and negative IONs that either kill the bad stuff or mat it down enough to be caught by your filter. They have a pricier install costs but don't have to be maintained for up to 12 years!! (depending on the brand you choose) We recommend and have installed in our own house the IWave-R.
